When I started thinking about doing this, I wasn't sure I'd have things to put in writing. However, once you starting seeing the positive in each thing instead of negative, you suddenly find yourself with a plethora of items to be grateful for. Now, instead or worrying I don't have anything, I find myself making mental notes all day of things I can add to my list.
Today I am thankful for:
- Ethan's unsolicited hug before he got on the school bus
- No crying at daycare dropoff
- Being able to give birthday gifts to friends
- That I can write my glog at work
- My husband calling to tell me he left his cell at home so I wouldn't worry
- Leftover Stromboli
- H20, Yes, water, I've been drinking more and starting to feel less puffy
- Staying busy until 5:00, it makes the day go by quickly
- Going home to a freshly mowed lawn that was mowed a day early
- Good people taking care of my children at daycare
- My husband helping me pickup for the maid without any complaining
- Getting my house cleaned tomorrow
- You
